    Two-day Annual Outcome Survey (AOS) training is underway at Samdrup Jongkhar organized by Project Coordination Unit (PCU) of the Market Access and Growth Intensification Project (MAGIP). As per the MAGIP design and project financing agreement, the project is required to undertake Annual Outcome Survey (AOS) commencing second year of the project. The AOS for MAGIP with grant support from the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) based in New Delhi, India is planned from March 7-24th, 2014 in selected project areas using hand held devices Nexus 7 tablet. Broadly the objectives of the AOS are to measure changes at the household level in terms of livelihoods and food security during the project period, assess target efficiency, provide evidences for the success or failure of project and provide timely performance information necessary to undertake corrective actions.

    March 6, Mongar: The last leg of the stakeholder consultation workshop for the revision of the National Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan (NBSAP) is underway for the eastern region.  The consultation workshop brings together relevant biodiversity stakeholders in the region to gather and incorporate ground issues and challenges into the national document so that the NBSAP becomes practical, realistic and implementable by all concerned agencies.
