    The Department of Livestock, Ministry of Agriculture & Forests would like to invite sealed quotations from the eligible National suppliers for the following contract: “Supply of Animal Feeds (Dairy, Poultry, Pig, Fish, Horse, Turkey)”

    The tender documents can be obtained from AFD, MoAF Thimphu on payment of Nu.300/- (non refundable) on any working days from 25th November 2013 to 24th December 2013. The bids may be submitted to Procurement Section, AFD, MoAF, Thimphu. The last day for submission is 24th December 2013 before 12.30 PM and will be opened on the same day at 3:00 PM at DoL Conference hall.

  • National Stakeholders Workshop on Implementation of Regional Action Plan for Improving Agricultural and Rural Statistics

    Jambayang Resort, Thimphu 19 November 2013: The Ministry of Agriculture and Forests (MoAF) with support from Food and Agricultural Organization for Asia-Pacific Region (FAORAP) and United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia-Pacific (UNESCAP) organized a half-day National Stakeholders Workshop on Initiation of the Regional Action Plan to Improve Agricultural and Rural Statistics in Bhutan on 19 November 2013 at Jambayang Resort.

    The Workshop was attended by about 25 officials representing major stakeholders both within and agencies outside the RNR sector. Mr. Dorji Dhradhul, the Director of Department of Agricultural Marketing and Cooperatives (DAMC) graced the opening ceremony, Mr. Phub Sangay, Chief Statistical Officer from National Statistical Bureau (NSB), served as the chair and Mr. Allan Nicholls, Regional Coordinator for Implementation of Regional Action Plan for improving Agricultural and Rural Statistics form FAORAP resourced the workshop.

  • Awareness workshop for RRCDP held

    12-15 November, Thimphu: In order to sensitise on the  Environmental and Social Management Framework which will ensure the activities of the Remote Rural Communities Development Project (RRCDP), the Policy and Planning Division of the Ministry organised a workshop at the conference hall of the Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
