    16 April, Bumthang: Her Royal Highness Ashi Chimi Yangzom Wangchuck inaugurated the UNESCO–Madanjeet Centre for South Asia Forestry Studies at the Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment (UWICE) located at Lamai Goempa. The centre was a cherished dream of late Madanjeet Singh, the UNESCO goodwill ambassador from the year 2000 who also founded the South Asia Foundation (SAF).

    April 15, Gelephu: The Hon’ble Agriculture Lyonpo Yeshey Dorji accompanied by Mr. Yamakoshi, Counsellor of Japanese Embassy, New Delhi and other officials from Japan inaugurated the Taklai irrigation channel in Chuzargang geog. The rehabilitation of Taklai irrigation project was financed through the grant aid from the Japanese government.

Any breach on this requirement is considered as illegal accordingly addressed as per the provisions of the above mentioned acts.

    The general public may seek for official documents or call BAFRA Toll Free No. 155 to verify the authenticity of the business entity if approached by any individual or firm for sale of any animal, plants and their products including seeds and other planting materials
