• A week long online training workshop on CITES held

    5-9 October, Thimphu: The Nature Conservation Division (NCD) of the Department of Forests & Park Services conducted a weeklong online training workshop on Convention on International Trade of Endangered Species of Fauna and Flora (CITES). Bhutan as a party, collectively and individually, face a significant and diverse set of capacity-building needs that limit the robust implementation of the convention. Therefore, the training workshop covered legislation, science and enforcement aspects of the convention for further enhancement while implementing in the field.

    More than 100 forestry staffs from Protected Areas and Territorial Forest Division registered in the inforMEA e-learning platform under the domain cites.org of CITES website and attended the online training.

  • Revised selling price at National Seed Centre

    The National Seed Centre is pleased to notify the revised selling price of seeds, seedlings and fertilizers with effect from 25th September, 2020 till further notice.
