    The EU-TCP, Policy and planning Division, Ministry of Agriculture & Forest invites sealed bids from interested national travel/ticketing agents having valid license. The detail information regarding the terms and condition can be downloaded at free of cost or may be collected from EUTCP, PPD.

    The Sealed quotation must be submitted in hard copy on or before 17/4/2018 by11.00 AM and the same will be opened on the same day at 11.30 AM (BST) in presence of the interested bidders or their representative in the chamber of the Imprest Administrator, MoAF. The preference shall be given to the bidder offering the cheapest and the most direct route with confirmed booking on the specified date of travel.

    April 9-13, Samtse: A total of 40 students from the Department of Animal Science, College of Natural Resources (CNR) are attending the dairy production program at the National Jersey Breeding Centre (NJBC). It is an annual program conducted joinly by CNR and NJBC to provide practical oriented dairy cattle management training to students.

  • Three days workshop on ecotourism held

    April 7-9, Haa: Three days workshop on ecotourism was conducted by Nature Conservation Division under Department of Forests and Park Services in Haa from 7-9 April 2018.

    The officials from protected areas of Bhutan who are involved in ecotourism development in their respective parks participated at the workshop. The workshop also included participants from key stakeholders like Ugyen Wangchuck Institute of Conservation and Environment and Research, Tourism Council of Bhutan, Association of Bhutanese Tour Operators and Handicraft Association of Bhutan with the aim to understand their roles in tourism and strengthen coordination and partnership between these agencies and Park officials.
