• Exit Interview for the civil servants on superannuation

    Mr. Dorji Wangdi, Programme Analyst (P1A), Picture1Rural Livelihood Project superannuated from service on 30 November 2017. He started his career as Agriculture Inspector in the then Department of Research and Development Service, Ministry of Agriculture. While in the service, he served in various capacities as Extension Officer, Dzongkhag Agriculture Officer, Project Manager, Deputy Chief Programme Officer and Programme Analyst which is equivalent to the Position Level of Programme Director.

    “He expressed that he would like to offer his most humble gratitude to His Majesty the Kings and the Royal Government for the privilege to serve the Tsa- Wa-Sum as a civil servant for the last 34 years. He mentioned that under the benevolent guidance and far sighted leadership of the our Kings, it was indeed a great honour and pride to be as civil servants for the past so many years which was very experiential, enriching and memorable times”.

    November 24,Thimphu: The Ministry of Agriculture and Forests (MoAF) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), Los Banos, Philippines for collaboration in research and development and training in rice and rice based systems. The Hon’ble Agriculture Secretary, Dasho Rinzin Dorji and the Director General for IRRI, Dr. Matthew K. Morell signed the document on behalf of both parties.
