    The Project Management Unit, Food and Agriculture Organization, Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Forests (MoAF) invites seal bids from eligible bidders with valid & relevant trade license and tax clearance certificate.

    A complete set of bidding document can be downloaded from the www.moaf.gov.bt and all the bidders participating in the tender should sign the Integrity Pact and submit as a part of tender document (refer ITB clause no. 12.1 ‘j’ of the bid data sheet), non-submission of Integrity Pact will lead to rejection of the bid. Further all the participating bidders are requested to compulsorily attend the pre-bid meeting scheduled on 12th March 2018 at 10 am in DoA conference hall.   • Notice inviting quotation

    The Procurement Section, Directorate Services, Ministry of Agriculture & Forest invites sealed bids from interested national travel/ticketing agents having valid license. The detail information regarding the terms and condition can be downloaded at free of cost or may be collected from procurement section.

    The Sealed quotation must be submitted in hard copy on or before 26th /2/2018 by11.00 AM and the same will be opened on the same day at 11.30 AM (BST) in presence of the interested bidders or their representative in the chamber of the Imprest Administrator, MoAF. The preference shall be given to the bidder offering the cheapest and the most direct route with confirmed booking on the specified date of travel.

  • Cleaning campaign along the Snowmen Trek Route

    1Bumthang: As a part of the monthly cleaning campaign, the Wangchuck Centennial National Park (WCNP) conducted the cleaning program along the famous snowman trek route (Gomthang & Tsampa route) from 8-11 February. The park management considers waste management as one of the important activities in its management regime particularly for mitigating anthropogenic threat to the wildlife and its habitat.

    More than half a tonnes of wastes were collected by the park staffs who were gathered for annual uniform discipline and drill training (ToT).

  • Groundbreaking ceremony for Integrated Yak Breeding Farm

    WeChat Image_20180214133017February 9, Haa: The Department of Livestock conducted the salang tendrel ceremony for the construction of Integrated Yak Breeding Farm in Chonaphu. The occasion was graced by Dasho Drangpon, Haa among other senior officials.

    The farm is expected to be completed by mid of the 2018. Once in place, it will contribute to yak breeding and conservation, promote yak based cottage enterprise, support restoration and sustainable utilisation of rangeland and build capacity of extension staff and communities for sustainable rangeland resources.
