  • Sanam Lyonpo meets private parties in Phuentsholing to discuss river bed materials

    5-6 December, Phuentsholing: Following an appeal by the private parties engaged in export of  river bed materials (RBM) from Toorsa River Basin, the Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo Yeshey Penjor visited Phuentsholing. He met with the private parties involved in surface collection, dredging activities and export at the Phuentsholing Thromde meeting hall.

    The visit was made to verify the stock balance of RBM of surface collection and dredging operators of the balance RBM piled at the sites, assess the possibilities of allowing export and agree on a deadline for clearing all the balance stock of RBM from all stock sites.
