    The Procurement section, Administration and Finance Division,  Ministry of Agriculture & Forest invites sealed bids from interested national travel/ticketing agents having valid license. The detail information regarding the terms and condition can be downloaded at free of cost or may be collected from Procurement Section, MoAF.

    The Sealed quotation must be submitted in hard copy on or before 22/01/2019 by 11 AM and the same will be opened on the same day at11.30 AM(BST) in presence of the interested bidders or their representative in the chamber of Procurement section, MoAF. The preference shall be given to the bidder offering the cheapest and the most direct route with confirmed booking on the specified date of travel.

  • Director General from DEVCO calls on Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo

    January 12, Thimphu:  Mr. Stefano Manservisi, Director General for International Cooperation and Development at the Europen Commission (DEVCO) calls on the Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo,  Yeshey Penjor. Welcoming the delegation at the ministry, Lyonpo thanked EU for their contributions since 1984 which has been very instrumental in enhancing rural livelihoods, poverty reductions and climate change actions.

    During the meeting, Lyonpo shared that in the past, the main challenges our people used to face was human wildlife conflict. The electric fencing support from EU has played as effective measures to face those challenges and resolve.

  • 105 new RNR recruits attends induction program

    January 9-11, Thimphu: Hundred and five new RNR recruits attended the three days induction programme at NRDCL conference hall. On the first day, they were briefed on the main objectives of orientation programme and its rationale, rules and organisational structure of the Ministry followed by a plenary session.

    They were sensitised on BCSR 2018 and its relevant rules, ethics and integrity tools. In addition, an overview of the RNR sector plan and priorities were also presented to them including the HR situation and its issues.
