Kyrgyz Republic Delegation on 3-Day Visit to Bhutan meets with MoAF Officials

14 July 2017, Thimphu: The Krgyz Delegation Members led by Her Excellency Ms. Samargul Adamkulova, Ambassador of Kyrgyz to the Republic of India; Mr. Keshav Verma, Senior Advisor to the Global Snow Leopard Ecosystem Protection program (GSLEP); and Dr. Koustubh Sharma, International Coordinator, (GSLEP) Program are on an official three day visit to Bhutan.


Today the team led by the Ambassador met with the Hon’ble Agriculture Secretary and officials from the Department of Forests and Park Services (DoFPS). The Hon’ble Secretary welcomed the delegates and briefed them on various issues such as Tiger Conversation, Watershed Management, Forest Resources and Management, Nature Conservation, Species Conservation Forests, Protected Areas, amongst others. The delegation also visited the Takin Preserve and Kuenselphodrang Recreational Park, Thimphu, followed by a dinner hosted by the Hon’ble Sanam Lyonpo.
