The World Food Programme (WFP) Bhutan also made a presentation on a new concept of developing integrated action plan of agriculture with school health and school feeding programme.

During the certificate awarding ceremony, both the heads of DoA and DSE MoE highlighted the importance of implementing the SAP in schools for various reasons such as awareness of self employment, supplementing food security and nutrition. The training was supported by VeGoTs SDC through Swiss Tropical Public Health (STPH).

This is an annual programme of SAP and so far about 330 school teachers have been trained at CNR with certificate courses.
