EOI for DAMC study

Expression of Interest (EoI) for conducting a study on ‘Socio-economic dynamics of winter vegetable production and marketing towards self-sufficiency and imports substitution’

The Department of Agricultural Marketing & Cooperatives (DAMC), Ministry of Agriculture & Forests would like to invite interested local registered Bhutanese consultancy firms to submit Expression of Interest for conducting a study on ‘Socio-economic dynamics of winter vegetable production and marketing towards self-sufficiency and imports substitution’

The EoI should also include copy of firm’s registration certificate, CV of the key personnel, past experience and other relevant documents in a sealed envelope addressed to the Director, Department of Agricultural Marketing & Cooperatives, Ministry of Agriculture & Forests, Motithang, Thimphu. The EoI must clearly be marked as “EoI Application for short-listing for Consultancy on ‘Socio-economic dynamics of winter vegetable production and marketing towards self-sufficiency and imports substitution’

Interested firms should submit their EoI before 1130 hrs on April 18, 2014 and shall be opened on the same day at 2.pm in DAMC. EoIs submitted electronically shall not be accepted. The draft Terms of Reference for the consultancy service can be downloaded from www.agrimarket.gov.bt or by clicking the link below.

The name and address of the shortlisted firms will be published in the Ministry of Agriculture & Forests website (www.moaf.gov.bt) and Department’s website (www.agrimarket.gov.bt). On the basis of the information obtained through EoI, the agency will shortlist consultancy firms primarily based on management and technical competence. Only shortlisted firms will be invited via email to submit the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the consulting service assignment.
