The Dzongkhag Livestock Sector, Bumthang and National Dairy Research and Development Centre, Yusipang conducted two days training in the first week of June 2019 for dairy groups of Tamshing and Chhumig on production of dairy products like yogurt, paneer, lassi and ice cream.
The training was conducted to solve marketing problems of butter and cheese through product diversification. Following the training, the Sector intends to focus on production of various products at a larger scale apart from ordinary butter and cheese, owing to the market availability and demand. The same training will be provided to the dairy groups of Tang and Ura in the coming year.
