The Royal Government of Bhutan has received a credit from the International Development Association towards the cost of Remote Rural Communities Development Project (RRCDP) and intends to apply a part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contracts for construction of work as detailed below. Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011. Bidders from Bhutan should, however, be registered with the Construction Development Board (CDB). Bidders are advised to note the minimum qualification criteria specified in Clause 4 of the Instructions to Bidders to qualify for the award of the contract.
