5 June, 2017: Her Imperial Highness Princess Mako of Japan (inset) visited the Dasho Keiji Nishioka Museum at the Farm Machinery Corporation Ltd.(FMCL) at Paro today. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forests also offered the Kusung Thukten Mandrel to Her Imperial Highness Princess Mako on behalf of the people of Bhutan.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forests is proud to inform that His Majesty the Fourth Druk Gyalpo’s wish of the Bhutanese people managing our forest resources and environment is getting fulfilled as we have established almost 700 community forests under the Social Forestry programme besides successfully protecting our watersheds, biodiversity reserves and national parks.
