    Hiring of Individual Consultant

    The Policy and Planning Division, Ministry of Agriculture and Forests would like to invite Expression of Interest (EOI) for the hiring of a Consultant for the development of Disaster Management and Contingency Plan for the RNR Sector for the duration of 50 working days.

    The interested applicants may submit EoI along with your CV, past experiences in related field and other relevant documents to Chief Planning Officer, PPD, MoAF, Thimphu latest by 10th November at 10:00 AM and will be opened on same day at 10:30 AM.

  • Executive Order

    It has been observed that the different departments and agencies under the Ministry organize different meetings, workshops, seminars and in-country trainings at different periods of the year at different locations. The Ministry is in view that such events hinders the regular activities of the officials especially when it involves lot of travelling time from the field to headquarters and vice versa more pertinently when they are of ad-hoc in nature. The same issue has also been informally expressed by some heads of local government.

  • SOP for dealing with Death of Foreign Nationals in Bhutan, 2016

    The Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs is pleased to inform that the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for dealing with Death of Foreign Nationals in Bhutan, 2016 has been endorsed by the 108th Lhengye Zhungtshog held on 12th July 2016. The Cabinet has directed this Ministry to issue the SOP for implementation.

    In the absence of a SOP, there were issues of coordination amongst the agencies while dealing with death of foreign nationals in the country. Therefore, this SOP is being adopted as an administrative coordination mechanism to define functions of all relevant agencies so as to streamline the process for dealing with death of foreign nationals.
