  • Integrated training course held for Teachers

    Untitled-1Lobeysa: A week long integrated training course for 30 school teachers completed on January 27, 2017 at the College of Natural Resources (CNR), Lobeysa. It was conducted jointly by the Department of School Education (DSE) and CNR.

    The training helps equip teachers of new School Agriculture Programme (SAP) member schools to manage school level SAP activities and also to train assistant focal teachers of Vegetable Go to School Project (VeGoTs) member schools. Teachers learn both the theory and practical of model vegetable garden development, mushroom cultivation, composting and livestock production. The World Food Programme (WFP) Bhutan also made a presentation on a new concept of developing integrated action plan of agriculture with school health and school feeding programme.

  • Best Employees of the Year Awarded

  • ARDC Bajo receives farm equipment from IHPP

    Handing taking over 1 (1)January 31, Tsirang: The Agriculture Research and Development Centre (ARDC), Bajo received one Excavator, three Hiluxes, and farm equipment through the Integrated Horticulture Promotion Project (IHPP), JICA worth of USD 3M.

    The handing taking ceremony was graced by the Hon’ble Agriculture and Forests Secretary and Chief Representative of JICA, Bhutan along with other dignitaries.
