25-27 November, Thimphu: With the new directives from the Ministry to accelerate livestock development for achieving self-sufficiency in livestock products, the Department of Livestock (DoL) is in the process of fixing the production and its related service targets over and above the 11th FYP for specific regions and Dzongkhags.
To discuss further on this, the officials including the Program Directors, Program Managers, Dzongkhag Veterinary Officers (DVOs) and Dzongkhag Livestock Officers (DLOs) among others under the Department met in a three day meeting at the DoL conference hall. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Tashi Samdup, the Director for DoL.
