    03 February 2016, PNP: Like in the other protected areas of Bhutan, Phrumsengla National Park is tirelessly exerting concerted efforts in the pursuit of discovering and adding new specimens to their existing flora and fauna list. Recently, in December 2015, a team lead by Mr. Rinchen Wangchuk, Head Research & Monitoring Section, PNP, had confirmed that Podocarpus nerrifolious commonly known as Brown Pine is lushly thriving inside the park with sound stand and profuse regeneration too. It is a new plant taxonomy for the park where this specimen had not been recorded till now.

  • Inviting Nominations for Lifetime Civil Service Award

    This is in reference to the Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC) letter No. RCSC/HRS(07)2016/2069 dated January 14, 2016 regarding the submission of Nominations for Lifetime Civil Service Award.

    In keeping with the Royal Command from His Majesty the King, requirement of the Civil Service Act of Bhutan (Section 88), as per the provisions of the BCSR 2012 and as part of the Civil Service Reform initiatives, the RCSC is implementing the Lifetime Civil Service Award for Civil/Public Servants on the day of their superannuation to give due recognition of their service to the nation. To implement the award, as and when they gets superannuate, RCSC is compiling the list of civil/public servants who will be superannuating with effect from July 2016 till December 31, 2017.

    Therefore, all the Departments/Agencies are requested to submit the list of superannuating civil servants from July 1, 2016 till December 31, 2017 as per the points mentioned in attached format (see link below) and submit to the Human Resource Division on or before 28th February, 2016 for onward submission to the Royal Civil Service Commission.

    This is in reference to the Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC) letter No. RCSC/HRS(07)2016/2069 dated January 14, 2016 regarding the submission of nominations for Dedicated Service Award 2016.

    In keeping with the Royal Command from His Majesty the King, requirement of the Civil Service Act of Bhutan (Section 88) and as per the provisions of the BCSR 2012, all the Departments/Agencies are requested to submit the list of nominations for the Dedicated Service Award for 10 years (bronze medal & Certificate), 20 Years (silver medal & certificate) and 30 years (gold and & certificate) respectively as of 30th June, 2016 as per the points mentioned in attached format (see link below) and submit to the Human Resource Division on or before 28th February, 2016 for onward submission to the Royal Civil Service Commission.

  • Invitation for Bids

    The Royal Government of Bhutan has received a credit from the International Development Association towards the cost of Remote Rural Communities Development Project (RRCDP) and intends to apply a part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contracts for construction of works as detailed below. Bidding is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and Grants by World Bank Borrowers, January 2011. Bidders from Bhutan should, however, be registered with the Construction Development Board (CDB). Bidders are advised to note the minimum qualification criteria specified in Clause 4 of the Instructions to Bidders to qualify for the award of the contract.
