August 12, 2015, Wangduephodrang: That the De-Suups are instrumental in both prevention and suppression of forest fire in Bhutan, the Forest Fire Management Section (FFMS) under Department of Forest and Park Services conducted a day-long sensitization for the 16th batch De-Suups currently undergoing training at Wangduephodrang.

8-13 August 2015, Paro: His Excellency Hon’ble MoAF Lyonpo graced the opening of the Regional Workshop on Tracking options for Sustainable Management and trade of Yartsa Guenbub in Kailash Landscape. The 18 participants from India, Nepal, China and Bhutan will share knowledge and the best practices in Cordyceps management and trade in order for the Kailash Sacred Landscape (KSL) member countries to develop and refine their management plans building based on its sustainability. This regional workshop is jointly organised by the Department of Forests and Park services (DoFPS) and the International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD).
The four day annual meeting of Agriculture Machinery Centre (AMC), Department of Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture and Forests was held from 27-30 July 2015 at Khangma, Trashigang. The meeting was organized to review the progress for the fiscal year 2014-2015 and discuss the work plan for the planned period of 2015-2016.
