  • Lhuentse dairy farmers trained on clean milk production

    Untitled-1Lhuentse: To meet the objectives of producing clean milk for safe human consumption and to improve market value chain, the Dzongkhag Livestock Sector trained 25 members of Minjey dairy group including 17 females and 8 males on September 27. The processing of clean and quality milk rely on how farmers handle their cows while milking as well as on good management practices of cattle herd.

    The training provided the farmers with hands-on training on clean milk production, types of milking techniques, theoretical session for milk and public health, scientific dairy management practices and processing of yoghurt production.
