  • MoU signed for Trout marketing

    Untitled-1In order to enhance the trout production through strengthened market system, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Department of Livestock and the Bhutan Livestock Development Corporation Ltd (BLDC) on November 8.

    As per the MoU, the Trout Breeding Center (TBC) under National Research Center for Riverine & Lake Fisheries (NRCR&LF) in Haa will produce and supply 2 MT of trout every month to BLDC for marketing. This marks a big step towards achieving the Centre’s target of enhanced fish production as well as the BLDC’s goal of food self-sufficiency and self-reliance.

  • Auction announcement of spent birds

    1. The National Poultry Research and Development Centre, Sarpang hereby invites interested general public for open auction of 1081 numbers of spent broiler birds on 21st November 2017, at 11:00AM in Conference Hall, NPRDC, Sarpang.
    2. The Birds will be auctioned on “as is where basis”. Interested bidders must deposit Nu. 20,000/- (Ngultrum Twenty Thousand only) as EMD (refundable) in cash warrant or cash in favor of Program Director, NRPRC, Sarpang.
    3. The birds will be sold to the highest bidder on full payment and, birds have to be lifted within two days from the date of auction.
    4. NPRDC, Sarpang has the right to reject if disputes arise out of terms and conditions. For further information, please contact 17694767.
