  • Youths to promote bee farming in Pemagatshel

    Pemagatshel: Considering the importance of bee farming towards food security, the Dzongkhag Livestock Sector, Pemagatshel trained 27 school dropout youths from seven gewogs and 10 livestock staff on hands-on training on beekeeping from 15-21 November. The trained youths will be the ambassadors to promote bee farming in the Dzongkhag.

    The technical backstopping for training was provided by the National Highland Research and Development Centre, Bumthang while the fund was supported by the Dzongkhag Development Grant (DDG).
