August 5-11, Haa: A week long training on the ‘Participatory Ecosystem Based Planning and Management (PEBPM)’ was organised by the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development and co-hosted by the Department of Forests and Park Services (DoFPS). Thirty-three participants comprised of mid-level technicians and development workers from the three member countries of the Kangchenjunga Landscape Conservation and Development Initiative (KLCDI) attended it.
The training built and strengthened the participants’ knowledge on PEBPM who were introduced to the various tools of participatory rural appraisal and also provided hands-on the usage of the tools with the communities in Bji geog.
