    group pic NOPApril 11-13, Thimphu: A workshop on National Organic and Vegetable Research and Development Strategies was held at the Institute of Management Studies (IMS), Serbithang, Thimphu, organised by the National Organic Program with the financial assistance from the Food Security and Agriculture Productivity Project (FSAPP).

    Recently, the Agriculture Research and Development Centre (ARDC) –Yusipang has been rendered with additional national mandates to execute research and development activities on organic agriculture and vegetables. Such institutionalisation is expected to focus and address research and development needs on organic agriculture and vegetables.

  • Training on Research Methodologies and Scientific Paper Writing underway

    The training is being held at the Agriculture Machinery Training CentreApril 9-14, Paro: About 30 participants from the Agriculture Research and Development Centres (Bajo, Samtenling, Wengkhar & Yusipang), central programs (NPPC, NSSC, NMC, NSC, NPHC & AMC) and Agriculture Production Division, Department of Agriculture (DoA) are attending the training on Research Methodologies and Scientific Paper Writing.

    The training is expected to enhance the knowledge and motivate the young researchers to develop a habit of scientific paper writing.
