    5 November, Thimphu: The Ministry of Agriculture and Forests congratulates and welcomes the new Chief of the RNR Statistics Division, Directorate Services, Mr. Tobden Tobden.

    Prior to the appointment, he served as the Deputy Chief Statistical Officer at the National Statistics Bureau. He completed his Master’s Degree in Environment and Resources Economics from Australian National University, Australia.

  • Invitation for Expression of Interest

    Invitation for Expresions of Interest from individual consultant specilialists in Information and Communication to “Develop a Sectoral Communication Strategy” for the Renewable Natural Resources sector.

    The Ministry of Agriculture and Forests (MOAF), is implementing “Development of a Sectoral Communication Strategy” to assist the Renewable Natural Resources (RNR) sector to demonstrate the success of significant RNR activities related to research, innovation of technologies and best practices to various targeted audience to enhance their livelihood and boost the country’s economy.

    The consultancy will be managed by DAI Brussels and contribute to the European Union funded project titled: Bhutan Technical Assistance for Renewable Natural Resources and Climate Change Response and Local Governments and Decentralization, also known as (EU-TACS). The assignment will involve a maximum of 30 working days, commencing from 1st December 2019 and ending by 31st January 2020.
