The Bhutan Journal of Animal Science, Department of Livestock, would like to make a second call for papers for the upcoming Volume 2, Issue 1, March 2018. The manuscript/paper can be submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. The email must bear the subject line “BJAS: Paper Submission”.
If you face problems with paper submission, please feel free to contact the Editor-in-Chief (email@example.com). A manuscript submitted to BJAS will be deemed acceptable only if they have not been published or is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The last date of paper submission is 11 November, 2017.

25 September 2017- In an effort to enhance the quality and conduct of livestock research under MoAF, the Department of Livestock has formed research committees that will act as “Watch Dogs” at various levels. National and international researchers and students, pursuing higher studies and research on animal science in Bhutan, may consult any of these committees for clearance and approval.

26 September 2017 is a holiday for Thimphu as the capital city will be celebrating the one day festival known as the Thimphu Drubchen which is also commonly known as Thimphu Dromchoe . The day long festival dates back to the 17th century. It was first introduced by Kuenga Gyeltshen in 1710, who was recognized as the reincarnation of Jampel Dorji, son of Zhabdrung Nawang Namgyel. The dromchoe is celebrated 3 days prior to the Thimphu Tshechu.
