The programme is aimed to provide opportunities to experience farming to those students who have no avenues, especially to the students whose parents and guardians are working in Thimphu.

This year all the registered students will be engaged in Thimphu valley and Chimipang, Punakha. Such a programme also provides the youths the sense of learning to earn. The School Agriculture Programme aims to expand such programmes to other Dzongkhags in the near future.
